Sunday Morning — Grief reminds us how deeply we loved.
This picture was taken two years ago on a simple date night with my wife, Lynn. At the time, we didn’t know that just two months later she would go home to be with the Lord.
Looking back at this moment now, it’s filled with memories — love, laughter, and the quiet beauty of a simple evening together. Life has a way of reminding us how precious those moments really are.
From the Balcony Beyond Time, we begin to see that God is present in every chapter of our lives — even the ones marked by pain, loss, and goodbye. He walks with us through the joy and He holds us through the sorrow.
“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” — Psalm 34:18
“Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for You are with me.” — Psalm 23:4
“He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain.” — Revelation 21:4
Grief reminds us how deeply we loved. And love is never wasted. From God’s eternal perspective, even the hardest seasons of our lives are held in His hands.
I carry these memories with gratitude and with hope — because for those who belong to Christ, goodbye is never the final word.
From the balcony beyond time, God reminds us that love continues, His presence never leaves us, and one day every tear will be turned into joy.
Blessings to you this Sunday morning.
