Born Again

🌅 Thursday Morning – A View from the Balcony Beyond Time

This morning, our Thursday Bible Study is in John 3:1–15, where we read about Nicodemus' nighttime conversation with Jesus.

Nicodemus was a respected religious leader. He knew the Scriptures. He knew the traditions. Yet something was missing. So, under the cover of darkness, he came seeking the One who was the Light.

Jesus didn't simply offer him more knowledge. He offered him a new life.

"Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again." — John 3:3

From the Balcony Beyond Time, this conversation is about far more than one man asking questions. It is about every one of us.

Like Nicodemus, we often try to understand God with our minds while He is inviting us to surrender our hearts. We search for answers in a world filled with noise, uncertainty, and opinions, yet Jesus still calls us to something much deeper—a transformed life through faith in Him.

Today's world is filled with distractions that promise fulfillment but leave us empty. Success, possessions, influence, and popularity can never replace the peace that comes from a relationship with Christ. Jesus reminds us that real life doesn't begin with changing our circumstances—it begins with allowing God to change us from the inside out.

Nicodemus came with questions.

He left with hope.

Years later, we see the evidence of that transformation when he courageously helped prepare Jesus' body for burial. The seed that Jesus planted that night had taken root.

The same Savior who spoke to Nicodemus is still speaking today.

He still invites the curious. He still welcomes the broken. He still transforms lives.

Perhaps today He's asking each of us the same question:

Are you simply learning about Me... or are you allowing Me to change you?

May we seek Christ as earnestly as Nicodemus did, and may we leave His presence forever changed.

Have a blessed Thursday. 🙏📖✨
