As I reflected this morning in preparation for our Thursday Bible study, my thoughts settled on one of the most beautiful encounters in Scripture—Jesus and the Samaritan woman at the well (John 4).

Every human barrier stood between them: ethnicity, culture, religion, gender, and her broken past. Yet Jesus saw none of those as obstacles. From the balcony beyond time, He didn't see a woman defined by her failures; He saw someone thirsty for living water and a future witness whose testimony would lead many others to Him. What the world saw as shame, Jesus saw as an opportunity for redemption.

As Romans 5:8 reminds us, "While we were still sinners, Christ died for us."

That same invitation is still ours today. God's love reaches beyond our past, our failures, and every label the world places upon us. In Christ, there is neither Jew nor Gentile, for we are all one in Him (Galatians 3:28), and God shows no favoritism (Acts 10:34–35). From the balcony beyond time, God isn't focused on where you've been—He's looking at who you can become through Christ.
